Summer Slam 2018

The Summer Slam basketball program is an introduction to the basic skills in basketball for boys and girls entering 3rd - 8th grades in Fall 2018. Players will learn the fundamentals of playing defense, dribbling, passing, and shooting. Players will also be introduced to advanced skills in basketball defense and more to prepare for competition play. Focus is on improving skills, enjoying the sport, and displaying good sportsmanship.

Practice and games will be played indoors on full court. Teams are organized by grade levels into three divisions: 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th grades. All teams are co-ed. Games with other teams in the same division will be played each week.

DATES & TIMES:

Tues, June 19 – Sat, July 28, 2018

(6 weeks)

One team practice per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday

(6-7pm or 7-8pm)

NOTE: No practice on Wednesday, July 4.

One game per week on Saturdays

(9-10am, 10-11am, or 11-12 noon)

Players will be notified of team assignments and practice & game schedules by June 5 via email.

COST:

$90 per player
(Includes reversible jersey, shorts, and trophy)
